When you’re in pain you may wonder,
“Is this as good as it gets?”

Anxiety & Depression Relief

If given the choice between chronic pain, anxiety, or depression to live with for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Many people choose pain. When dealing with pain that stems from Mind Body disorders/Tension Myositis Syndrome/Functional Disorders/Psychosomatic Conditions/Stress-Illness (all different names referring to the same condition), the body decides that it is worse to feel anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, hopelessness, overwhelm, etc., than physical pain. Another way of stating this is that physical pain acts as a distraction from emotional pain.

When you’re in pain you may wonder, “Is this as good as it gets? What if I never get better? Why can’t the doctors figure out what’s wrong and give me the treatment that will return me to normal?” Worry clouds your thoughts. Rarely are you living in the present moment. You future-trip and concoct the worst case scenarios.

Anxiety can lead to hopelessness. The longer you’ve gone without adequate pain relief, the more anxious and depressed you become. Feeling like no one and no thing can help, can lead to isolation, making it seem as though no one can make it better so why even try. All these emotions can exacerbate the pain.

The tools I use take as little as one session to feel results and are backed by scientific research.
